This holiday season, we are deeply grateful to our neighbors at Brandywine Realty Trust for generously allowing us to use one of their nearby buildings as a home base for this year’s Danella Christmas Project. Their kindness has made it possible for our team to continue bringing holiday joy to over 1,200 children across John H. Webster Elementary School, La Salle Academy, and Anne Frank Elementary School in Philadelphia.
For decades, the Danella Christmas Project has brought together employees from across our organization to give back to the communities we serve. Each year, our team members volunteer countless hours, often during lunch breaks, after work, or on weekends, to collect donations, organize gifts, and make sure every child receives something special. From labeling and sorting clothing to wrapping presents and packing backpacks, our employees diligently work to bring the Christmas spirit to students at the schools.
Having a dedicated space to store, organize, and assemble the gifts is essential to keeping this effort running smoothly. With recent expansions in our corporate location divisions and the growing need that the project serves, space was becoming a major bottleneck in the Christmas Project operation. Thanks to Brandywine Realty Trust’s generosity, we have an expanded space to continue our tradition. Their partnership is a reminder of what can be accomplished when local businesses come together in the spirit of community and giving back.
We are inspired each year by the dedication of our employees, who embody the Danella Cares philosophy through their actions. Their selflessness and teamwork help make the holidays brighter for so many children and families in need. We also want to extend our thanks to all of our vendors who support this project each and every year.
