For two decades, Danella has participated in the Christmas Project. This initiative brings together the Danella family of offices and employees to provide gifts for students in local elementary schools.
A Growing Tradition
The Danella Christmas Project began in 2004 with one classroom at the John H. Webster Elementary school. What began as an initiative to support one local elementary school has blossomed into a cherished event that now benefits three schools in our community.
Each year, we’ve expanded our efforts to include more students and schools. We now deliver to La Salle Academy and Anne Frank Elementary (the largest elementary school in the country!). This year, we’re excited to announce that we provided gifts for over 1,200 students in Philadelphia with gifts, snacks, toys, uniforms, and more!
A Community Effort
This work would not have been possible without the commitment of our Plymouth Meeting office elves, our special guest elf Bobby Guldin, Santas Dan Batze and Bill Guffey, and most importantly, Cheryl Guffey and Hannah Guffey, who lead the project. Seeing the excitement on the students’ faces is the ultimate reward.
Christmas 2024
We want to share some of our favorite photos from our special deliveries this past Christmas. Here’s to 20 years of giving back and many more to come!
