Wireless Communications Services

Communications networks construction requires intensive planning, technical expertise, and skilled crew members while working closely with businesses and regulatory authorities. Danella’s Telecommunications Service builds, upgrades, maintains and expands these networks.

Since the mid-1980s, Danella has worked to continue the growth of the wireless communications industry throughout the Continental United States and has 26 large communications customers.

Danella’s inherent urgency without compromising safety or results ensures customers receive highly reliable, robust deliverables and services. Our wireless communications offerings fall into four categories:

Cell Phone Towers

These towers provide cell phone coverage to a relatively large area, usually a 2.5-5-mile umbrella around the tower. Our services include:

  • Scheduling and budget tracking
  • Material procurement
  • Zoning and permits

Each tower constructed relies on Danella’s expert crews to build the towers, feed power and fiber optics, connect power, mount antennae and radios and finalize all testing parameters.

Small Cell Projects

Mounted atop urban light poles, small cell projects enhance cell coverage in cities. Each site provides coverage to a few blocks of the city, depending on the position of surrounding buildings. To provide adequate coverage in a city, these sites are positioned on many street corners. Danella’s crews are adept at working in small, heavily trafficked areas while maintaining site safety and quality controls.

Distributed Antenna System (DAS)

This wireless system provides a solution to poor reception inside large buildings or structures. Antennae are physically connected to a central control which integrates with wireless carriers’ networks. From initial project scope to final testing, Danella has the skills to create a seamless process.

Underground Telecommunications Philadelphia

Underground Fiber

Building the infrastructure necessary to support towers, small cell sites, and DAS systems often involves running underground fiber and power to these sites. The team also assists other Danella teams with directional drilling to get this infrastructure in place with the least amount of disruption to the surrounding area.

Once installed, the team performs maintenance as needed and performs the necessary testing to ensure the desired coverage area is achieved and that all systems are working as designed.
