On June 6, 2024, Danella Construction of PA hosted several groups of utility providers in the Pennsylvania Tri-State region during a partial-day Leadership and Safety Conference.

Danella’s team members and utility providers came together to discuss how Danella approaches safety, culture, environmental concerns, and subcontractor management. Group discussions were also held regarding industry trends/innovations and, most importantly, how Danella handles the growing concerns around employee recruitment/retention, safety, and Operator Qualification (OQ) training. Joseph Spause, President, and Taylor Murray, Corporate Safety, led the discussions while outlining Danella’s services.

Joseph Spause commented, “It was a terrific day spent with some of our utility partners, listening to their needs and discussing the ever-changing utility environment. It was great to instill confidence that when they choose Danella, they are making the right choice for their work.”

The day opened with those in attendance experiencing the Danella 7:30 AM Safety Call, which reports any safety concerns from every division of Danella. This was followed by a facility tour of the Plymouth Meeting, PA office and yard. Utility Providers were introduced to key members of our teams and viewed areas such as our OQ training room, shop and tooling areas, and the soon-to-be-completed Storm Response building. They also were able to take a glimpse at our rental fleet.

Danella fostered an interactive environment where industry leaders were encouraged to ask questions and discuss Danella’s safety, environment, culture, and technology innovations.
